Modern Slavery Statement
Effective date: 4 November 2026 · Last updated: 4 November 2026
1. Our commitment
eCommerce Recruitment Agency is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. We publish this statement voluntarily; we are not above the size at which UK law requires one.
2. Our business and supply chain
This statement covers the activities of eCommerce Recruitment Agency. We provide recruitment services for eCommerce companies to businesses, mainly in the United States. Our main suppliers are software and online service providers, and in some cases partner recruitment agencies.
3. Where the risks are
Recruitment is an area where workers can be exploited, for example through fees charged to job seekers, withheld documents or false job offers. We therefore treat our recruitment work as the main area of risk in our business.
4. Our policies
- No candidate fees: we never charge candidates for finding them work (see our Code of Ethics).
- Whistleblowing: anyone can report a concern about our business or supply chain, and will not be treated unfairly for doing so.
- Staff conduct: our team is told what we expect of them and how to recognise signs of modern slavery.
- Recruitment partners: we only work with reputable agencies and check how they treat workers before working with them.
5. Due diligence
Before working with a new recruitment partner, we check that it is a genuine business, that it does not charge workers fees, and that it treats workers lawfully. If we find a concern, we stop working with that partner until it is resolved.
6. Reporting a concern
If you have a concern about modern slavery connected to our business, contact us at complaints@
7. Approval and review
This statement has been approved by the management of eCommerce Recruitment Agency. It was published on 4 November 2026 and will be reviewed by November 2027.
